A lack of saving is not a financial issue; it’s a discipline issue.
If we can set aside the first portion, our tithe or first fruits, to return it to God, we can exercise the same discipline to set aside the next 10-15% for the future before we spend on our needs and wants.
To ignore this principle is unwise and will result in financial difficulties because we’re choosing to be unprepared for what may come.
