Harvest Festival

The Room Parent’s primary role is to encourage parent participation in the Harvest Festival

  • 3 Volunteer Shifts Per Family - 2 festival, 1 set-up/clean-up
  • Suggested Grade-Level Volunteer Shifts
  • Parent-Volunteer Contest

Auction

  • Room parents are NOT required to organize a class art project or basket for the Harvest auction
  • Grade-Level Activity Auction Items: Encourage at least one-grade level activity for your class to sponsor and purchase
  • The Auction chairs (Julie Callejo, Jaclyn Eng and Tina Chan) will provide draft emails to send to the parents in your class. If you have any further questions please contact harvestfestivalauction@mckinleybulldogs.com

Yearbook

  • Collect and capture classroom “moments” if not from you, from other parents or the teacher
  • We need Room Parents help to make sure the Yearbook is inclusive of all the students
  • Sort and upload your best class photos from field trips, assemblies, Grade Level Events, parties, etc. to the Google Photos albums
  • Work with our Yearbook team to review the grade level pages for completeness and accuracy
  • Yearbooks are on sale now and purchases completed by Oct. 31 get 10% OFF
  • Online purchase and custom pages must be done by May 5, 2025
