Suggested Norms for Today’s Meeting

  1. Stick to the Agenda: Follow the agenda and save off-topic ideas for a “parking lot” to revisit later.
  2. Respect Each Other’s Time: Keep comments brief; start and end on time.
  3. Encourage Inclusive Participation: Balance speaking and listening to make space for all voices.
  4. Give Each Other Grace: We’ve all been through a lot, and this work is new to many of us. Be patient and kind to each other.
  5. Remember Why We’re Here: Our shared purpose is bigger than any of us or our organizations. We can accomplish more together than we can working alone.

Long Term Recovery Group (LTRG)

An LTRG is a proven national model that has emerged in response to disasters across the county.

For Henderson County, this means designing a recovery effort that reflects local voices and organizations while also expanding our network to include other disaster recovery resources willing and able to support our community.
