ونحن شهود
We Are Witnesses
لكنكم ستنالون قوة متى حل الروح القدس عليكم و تكونون لي شهودا في اورشليم و في كل اليهودية و السامرة و الى اقصى الارض (اع 1 : 8)
"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth" (Act 1 : 8)

شاهداً معنا بقيامته
A Witness with us of His Resurrection
منذ معمودية يوحنا الى اليوم الذي ارتفع فيه عنا يصير واحد منهم شاهدا معنا بقيامته (اع 1 : 22)
"beginning from the baptism of John to that day when He was taken up from us, one of these must become a witness with us of His resurrection" (Act 1 : 22)

The Choice of the Apostles Was Based on Their Witness to the Resurrection (This was proof of Christ’s divinity in order to explain salvation)
المهمة الأولى للتلاميذ الشهادة للقيامة .. لأن الشهادة للصليب والموت لسيت محل نقد
The first mission of the disciples was to witness to the Resurrection .. Because the testimony of the Cross and death was not subject to dispute.

نحن جميعاً شهود للقيامة
We are all Witnesses of the Resurrection
سبق فراى و تكلم عن قيامة المسيح انه لم تترك نفسه في الهاوية و لا راى جسده فسادا،
فيسوع هذا اقامه الله و نحن جميعا شهود لذلك.( اع 2 : 31 – 32 )
"he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption, "This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. (Act 2 : 31 - 32)
الكرازة بقيامة المسيح للكرازة بالخلاص والحياة الأبدية
Preaching the Resurrection of Christ is the preaching of Salvation and Eternal Life
و باقوال اخر كثيرة كان يشهد لهم و يعظهم قائلا اخلصوا من هذا الجيل الملتوي.
(اع 2 : 40)
And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation" (Act 2 : 40)
نحن جميعاً شهود للقيامة

ان اله ابراهيم و اسحق و يعقوب اله ابائنا مجد فتاه يسوع الذي اسلمتموه انتم و انكرتموه امام وجه بيلاطس و هو حاكم باطلاقه، و لكن انتم انكرتم القدوس البار و طلبتم ان يوهب لكم رجل قاتل.
"The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let [Him] go, "But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you,.
و رئيس الحياة قتلتموه الذي اقامه الله من الاموات و نحن شهود لذلك، و بالايمان باسمه شدد اسمه هذا الذي تنظرونه و تعرفونه و الايمان الذي بواسطته اعطاه هذه الصحة امام جميعكم.( اع 3 : 13 – 16 )
"and killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses, "And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which [comes] through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. (Act 3 : 13 – 16 )

ألقاب المسيح : القدوس البار رئيس الحياة .. فتاه
Titles of Christ: The Holy One, the Righteous, the Prince of Life … His Servant
و ليس باحد غيره الخلاص لان ليس اسم اخر تحت السماء قد اعطي بين الناس به ينبغي ان نخلص (اع 4 : 12)
"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Act 4 : 12)

القيامة أهم خبر ... والدعوة إذاً لحياة أخرى
The Resurrection is the greatest news … and therefore a call to a new life
لاننا نحن لا يمكننا ان لا نتكلم بما راينا و سمعنا (اع 4 : 20)
For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard (Act 4 : 20)

و الان يا رب انظر الى تهديداتهم و امنح عبيدك ان يتكلموا بكلامك بكل مجاهرة، بمد يدك للشفاء و لتجر ايات و عجائب باسم فتاك القدوس يسوع.( اع 4 : 29 – 30 )
"Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word,.
"by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus". (Act 4 : 29 – 30 )

Carrying out the Witness
و لما اطلقا اتيا الى رفقائهما و اخبراهم بكل ما قاله لهما رؤساء الكهنة و الشيوخ
(اع 4 : 23)
And being let go, they went to their own [companions] and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said to them (Act 4 : 23)
الشهادة هى رسالة ووظيفة الكنيسة
Witnessing is the mission and ministry of the Church
الشهادة تحتاج إلى نعمة
Witnessing requires grace
الرب يعطي كلمة المبشرات بها جند كثير (مز 68 : 11)
The Lord gave the word; Great [was] the company of those who proclaimed [it:] (Psa 68 : 11)
حسب النص القبطى .. معطى كلمة للمبشرين بقوة عظيمة
According to the Coptic text … He gave the word to the evangelists with great power

نحن شهود والروح القدس
We are Witnesses and the Holy Spirit
هذا رفعه الله بيمينه رئيسا و مخلصا ليعطي اسرائيل التوبة و غفران الخطايا، و نحن شهود له بهذه الامور و الروح القدس ايضا الذي اعطاه الله للذين يطيعونه.( اع 5 : 31 – 32 )
"Him God has exalted to His right hand [to be] Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins, "And we are His witnesses to these things, and [so] also [is] the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him". (Act 5: 31 – 32)
الشهادة للقيامة تسبق الشهادة للألوهة (القيامة أقوى واثبات للمسيح الإله)
Witnessing to the Resurrection precedes witnessing to Divinity (for the Resurrection is the strongest proof that Christ is God)

و الروح و العروس يقولان تعال و من يسمع فليقل تعال و من يعطش فليات و من يرد فلياخذ ماء حياة مجانا، لاني اشهد لكل من يسمع اقوال نبوة هذا الكتاب ان كان احد يزيد على هذا يزيد الله عليه الضربات المكتوبة في هذا الكتاب.( رؤ 22 : 17 – 18 )
And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely, For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book;. (Rev 22 : 17 – 18 )

الشهود الكذبة
False Witnesses
و اقاموا شهودا كذبة يقولون هذا الرجل لا يفتر عن ان يتكلم كلاما تجديفا ضد هذا الموضع المقدس و الناموس (اع 6 : 13)
They also set up false witnesses who said, "This man does not cease to speak blasphemous words against this holy place and the law; (Act 6 : 13)
فاجتمعوا مع الشيوخ و تشاوروا و اعطوا العسكر فضة كثيرة، قائلين قولوا ان تلاميذه اتوا ليلا و سرقوه و نحن نيام. و اذا سمع ذلك عند الوالي فنحن نستعطفه و نجعلكم مطمئنين، فاخذوا الفضة و فعلوا كما علموهم فشاع هذا القول عند اليهود الى هذا اليوم.( متى 28 : 12 – 15 )
When they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers,. saying, "Tell them, 'His disciples came at night and stole Him [away] while we slept’. And if this comes to the governor's ears, we will appease him and make you secure“ , So they took the money and did as they were instructed; and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day. (Mat 28 : 12 – 15 )

و يقوم انبياء كذبة كثيرون و يضلون كثيرين، و لكثرة الاثم تبرد محبة الكثيرين.

"Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many, "And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
. (Mat 24 : 11 – 12 )
و اخرجوه خارج المدينة و رجموه و الشهود خلعوا ثيابهم عند رجلي شاب يقال له شاول (اع 7 : 58)
and they cast [him] out of the city and stoned [him] And the witnesses laid down their clothes at the feet of a young man named Saul (Act 7 : 58)

فتب من شرك هذا و اطلب الى الله عسى ان يغفر لك فكر قلبك، لاني اراك في مرارة المر و رباط الظلم.
"Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you, "For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity".

فاجاب سيمون و قال اطلبا انتما الى الرب من اجلي لكي لا ياتي علي شيء مما ذكرتما,
ثم انهما بعدما شهدا و تكلما بكلمة الرب رجعا الى اورشليم و بشرا قرى كثيرة للسامريين. (اع 8 : 22 – 25 )
Then Simon answered and said, "Pray to the Lord for me, that none of the things which you have spoken may come upon me“,So when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem, preaching the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans. (Act 8 : 22 – 25 )
فدعا الاثنا عشر جمهور التلاميذ و قالوا لا يرضي ان نترك نحن كلمة الله و نخدم موائد (اع 6 : 2)
Then the twelve summoned the multitude of the disciples and said, "It is not desirable that we should leave the word of God and serve tables (Act 6 : 2)

و للوقت جعل يكرز في المجامع بالمسيح ان هذا هو ابن الله، فبهت جميع الذين كانوا يسمعون و قالوا اليس هذا هو الذي اهلك في اورشليم الذين يدعون بهذا الاسم و قد جاء الى هنا لهذا ليسوقهم موثقين الى رؤساء الكهنة. (اع 9 : 20 – 21 )
Immediately he preached the Christ in the synagogues, that He is the Son of God, Then all who heard were amazed, and said, "Is this not he who destroyed those who called on this name in Jerusalem, and has come here for that purpose, so that he might bring them bound to the chief priests?". (Act 9 : 20 – 21 )

و ان يكرز باسمه بالتوبة و مغفرة الخطايا لجميع الامم مبتدا من اورشليم، و انتم شهود لذلك، و ها انا ارسل اليكم موعد ابي فاقيموا في مدينة اورشليم الى ان تلبسوا قوة من الاعالي.( لو 24 : 47 – 49 )
"and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem, "And you are witnesses of these things, "Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high". (Luk 24 : 47 - 49)
