  1. How to Access?
  • Click following links to access the virtual rooms for the open lab fair
  • MyEE
  • If there are too many pictures with broken links, refresh the website.
    • Don’t exit and re-enter, just refresh and re-enter.

0. You must use a computer (PC or Mac), no tablet or phone.

1. Access the room through the given URLs.

3. Name & Avatar setting

Create Name in an example format in English without characters,

ex) Student-Tom Cruise

You can change an avatar by clicking this

When done, click this

You can change an avatar and name

Students must NOT select avatars like this.

This is for TAs.

5. MIC setting

Click ‘Enter on Screen’

Mute MIC function by filling the check box and then click ‘Enter Now’

When you need to speak to someone, click the above mic icon.

Change setting under ‘Misc’ in ‘Preferences’.�

Recommendation:�Reduce material quality and Max resolution�

  1. How to Control?
  • Control description for a computer user
    • Keyboard input setting must be in English. If it is in Korean or other language, control keys do not work.
    • To move front/left/back/right
      • W/A/S/D
    • Turn left/right
      • Q/E or Hold mouse left click and move gives you a control on eyesight.
    • Fly
      • Typing a command ‘/fly’ lets you fly.
    • Move fast
      • Hold shift key and move

  • How to Control?
  • Control description for a mobile (touchscreen) user
    • To move front/back
      • Pinch in/out.
    • Turn left/right and See up/down
      • Move an actual device or �swipe a screen.
    • User can set a joystick by changing�a setting in the preferences.
      • A user can’t access the contents
  • Strongly recommended to use a computer �with a keyboard for the full access to�all contents

  • Panel description
  • Poster
    • Students can simply see what each lab. researches.
  • YouTube
    • Students can watch a introduction video about each lab.
  • Lab. homepage
    • Students can see more detailed works of each lab.
  • Zoom
    • When students have more questions and want to talk more, they can talk to TAs privately in ZOOM.
    • It must be done after students and TAs are agreed.

  1. How to Enjoy?

  • Access to YouTube, Homepage, and Zoom
    • Placing a cursor on each content (even a broken link picture) displays ‘open link’ button.
    • Click the button to go to each content

  • Access to a poster
    • Click and hold the space bar gives the below picture.
    • Click ‘open link’ directs you a clear poster

  • How to Enjoy?

  • Contents in full screen mode
    • A user can see contents in full screen mode by right-click the contents and holding the right-click
    • For the videos, play a video by clicking a ‘play button’ first before right-clicking the videos.

  1. How to Move to Other Rooms?
  • Access to Lobby
    • In the middle of the room, there is a link to the lobby.
  • Access to other rooms
    • In the big screen side, there is a link to the another room.

Notice

  • Voice distance is not long. Students need to get close to a speaker to hear when the speaker (TAs or other students) speak.
