RESILIENCE IS THE ANTIDOTE TO RESISTANCEResistance: from Latin resistere , it means to hold back. Resilience: from Latin resilens , it means to rebound, recoil, elasticity. “The only constant is change”

Resistance

  • Restrains, against movement
  • Holds on
  • Stays in one place
  • Discourages growth

Resilience

How’s Your

Rubber Bumper?

  • Check it out
  • Do a Body Scan, notice any physical or emotional sensations:
  • On a scale of 1-10 what number would you give them? The higher your number, the thinner your bumper. (Know your stress threshold number)
  • If you’re approaching your stress threshold, use your coping tools to lower your number
