Post-Event Survey: What went well?

25

The event went smoothly

Loved the quiz section, was fun learning about Chinese New Year

Everything - thank you Jasmine, Wilson, David + other pick up points for food

Great MC and cohosts

Food pick up was quick and smooth, the Zoom activities were festive and fun.

The games

zoom starts on-time (even before the 5pm set time), I can see the SF side, games (Kahoot), MC wilson with the CNY mood ! Love every bit !

all

Fun and engaging, nice to see something familiar

lion dance and games

Appreciated the food options that were lined up

Fun

Well organized, games were fun and informative

Great food

Post-Event Survey: What didn’t go so well?

26

All good.. (There is a way to see gallery of participants even after sharing powerpoint. Take the 3 dot after sharing screen. If Christine wants to know more how to do it, feel free to email <name and email redacted>.)

everything went well

Everything went well, just a minor hiccup with the zoom screen technically :)

Food pick up was late. Hence, late for the zoom call.

Food was a bit bland. Was hoping to attend in person

Lion dance audio didn’t go well, but still entertaining!

Maybe technical improvement and little more focus on online participants to make it truly hybrid

n.a

Overall very well organized

pickup didn't go so well. we arrived at 415pm to pick up at Kiliney and I told her we have 3 orders. She asked for my name and she checked off my name and gave me a bag of food. I re-confirmed that there's 3 orders inside, and she said yes. Unfortunately, when I got home and took out what's in the bag I found only 1 order inside. I had to drive all the way back down to retrieve the other 2 orders- this wasted 1 hour of driving time and so we couldn't participate in the zoom call. I wish the pickup was less confusing or that the restaurant folks know that you have to provide all the different names even though it was ordered at the same time.

Technical issues related to Zoom, the hosts needed to be more familiar with Zoom.

Too short on the Quiz.

Wasn't able to get a dine in ticket

Post-Event Survey: motivational feedback?

Awesome event

Awesome job to everyone!

Enjoyed the event as always! Thanks for hosting events and helping us reconnect with Singapore while being abroad.

everything

Great job! It wasn't a long and drawn out event. Short and crisp, but fun too.

great work organizers!!!

keep it up

None. Doing terrific job. And nice to have in person and virtual coming out of 2 years of hiatus

Please host more events!

Really appreciate your efforts!

Thank you for all that you do. There is seriously not much Chinese New Year mood here in US. I always look forward to Singapore events on Chinese New Year. Sincere thanks, from the bottom of my heart.

thank you for providing us with this opportunity to eat good food and celebrate CNY while overseas.

Thank you for the planning and hard work!

Thanks for organizing the event. Really appreciate it

Thanks for organizing!

Thanks to all the volunteers to make the event happen.

Very fun event! Thank you for organizing :) Love to see more such interactive events events and I think having both inperson/zoom attendance helps with connecting more people

Post-Event Survey: improvements?

28

Could have more So cal locations in person venue perhaps

I know it is difficult. But I look forward to have it in Seattle..

I really liked the lion dance cafe for a previous event.

It was a toss up if you live in Palo Alto to go to SJ or SF. San Mateo would be nice to offer

It was fine.

Na

names written on food pick up would be good.

No compaints with pick up locations.

no if was fine

Nope, all good.

Pick up location was great for us because we live in Palo Alto

Would like to see more tickets. I live in Palo Alto but was not able to attend in person because tickets ran out

SingaporeConnect

Post-Event Survey: communication less confusing?

29

communication is good, in my opinion.

email

Faced an issue when trying to register for tickets online. If there are multiple people in the family, it was tedious to reenter the same information repeatedly. And in the end, it didn't go through anyway, so I ended up only registering for one person altogether.

food ordering and pickup needs to be crystal clear.

I understand that the community wants to gather participants info, but it is indeed confusing at times about the separate emails for kids etc of the same family

Na

NA

Would be great if we didn't have so many fields to fill in every time.

Post-Event Survey: SGN Data Collection

34

I'm not sure how that information is being used and would like more clarity about that

In the spirit of transparency and trust buildig, suggest to share the data to all who attend, anonymized of course.

everything was well

SGN should also disclose why such info is needed

It’s not great form to require this information in return for subsidizing the event. Negatively impacts the spirit it the event and the sponsorship. Lots of public and private organizations sponsor events without this sort of blatant quid pro quo.

What are your thoughts towards the request for data about your job/school/location that is sent to SGN and for you to be added to their mailing list, in return for their sponsorship of the event?
