Today I am going to share with you some of the Sunnahs of Eid ul Adha that I have learnt from my Dhul Hijjah workshop.

  • Taking a shower (ghusl) before going out for Eid prayer

  • Dress up in your best available clothes. Men should wear perfume ,if available.

  • Eating after performing the Eid prayer.

  • Recite Takbeerat until 13th of Dhul Hijjah (Asr time).

  • Use two separate routes to and from the prayer ground.

  • Perform the sacrifice after the Eid prayer and also eat its meat.
