Installation: An artistic genre of three-dimensional works that often are site-specific and designed to transform the perception of a space.Memorial: �Kitsch: Design considered to be in poor taste because of excessive garishness or sentimentality, but sometimes appreciated in an ironic or knowing way.�Environmental Art: Artistic works that are intended to enhance or become part of the environment or make a statement on environmental issues.�Happenings: A partly improvised or spontaneous piece of theatrical or other artistic performance, typically involving audience participation.�performance art: An art form that combines visual art with dramatic performance.�Triptych: A picture or relief carving on three panels, typically hinged together side by side and used as an altarpiece.�Postmodernism: A late-20th-century style and concept in the arts, architecture, and criticism that represents a departure from modernism and has at its heart a general distrust of grand theories and ideologies as well as a problematical relationship with any notion of “art.”�
