Watercolor:

Finish driftwood paintings (an hour or so?)

    • Layer paint (glazing) to refine color, shading, texture
    • Dry brush details--this should be the last thing that you do so that your details stay crisp

Watercolor--painting of choice:

    • Google “easy watercolor paintings” OR find a reference photo you’d like to try to paint. You may watch an instructional video if you would like to.
    • Mix practice colors on a practice paper
    • Start painting! Light to dark. Paint in layers and use your techniques! You may use a full sheet or cut a half sheet** you will work on this the next class period as well

The only rule here is that I expect you to be working! You will be working on these paintings in our next block, so plan accordingly.
