  1. All chapters are REQUIRED to submit a chapter calendar of recruitment events and RTW activities each academic year.

  • While it is not required for chapters to complete membership intake each year, we do RECOMMEND that chapters complete intake every year.

  • All calendars and activities (including any changes) must be REVIEWED & APPROVED by your chapter's Director of Bands (DOB) and/or Sponsor PRIOR to submitting it to the National Leadership Team.

  • Chapter calendars must be submitted at least TWO (2) WEEKS PRIOR to the start of an event to allow for adequate time for review and approval.

What is different in OPUS?

Who can create and submit forms to National Headquarters?

President, Vice President of Membership, Secretary, Treasurer, Historian, and Alumni Relations Officer. *Directors of Bands and Sponsors can also create and submit forms if needed.*

Signature Process

Chapters are required to collect “signatures” for the Chapter Personnel Report (CPR) and the Membership Candidate Registration (MCR). Members will receive an email notifying them that they need to login to review and acknowledge Fraternity policies when the form is submitted for Sponsor approval. Completion of the policy acknowledgement serves as their “signature” in OPUS. See the Logging in to OPUS for the First Time video for a step-by-step walkthrough of the process.

OPUS Issues

If you encounter issues with OPUS (including login troubles), please contact Aaron Moore (moore@kkytbs.org) and Nicole Brooks (brooks@kkytbs.org) at National Headquarters.

Running for District Office

Believe that your knowledge and experiences are valuable.

Yes, you!

Speak with previous District leaders - they want to help!

Not just the office you’re interested in, you may find inspiration through other connections.

Attend workshops or info sessions that are offered (and if they’re not offered - ask!)

You’ll receive real context for the expectations and day-to-day functioning of holding a position.

Consider your time management and organizational skills.

These will be very important during your time in office, both for yourself and the entire leadership team.

Talk to other active members about what they want to see from District leadership.

Build a platform around the tangible needs of the Brotherhood.

Be yourself!
