Course Description Procedure

Please return Course Requests to SRHS Counseling office, to us tonight, or if your student is an SRMS student, to their English teacher.

SRHS Counseling Important Dates:

  • January 23 - Course Request forms Due

  • March 11 and 12 - 1-on-1 Meetings at SRMS

**SRCS Students (non SRMS) Please turn in your Course Selection Form this evening prior to leaving. If you feel you need more time, please turn it into SRHS Counseling Office by Friday, january 23.

Orientation

  • The orientation program is very important to your student’s success at SRHS.

  • The first day of school for the 2026-2027 school year is TBD, but most likely Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

  • Orientation for students is tentatively the week before school starts. Please do not plan family vacations during this time as it is important your student feel comfortable with classroom locations, lockers, and PE clothes.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW!!!

All Potential SRHS Student Athletes must have the following:

  1. 2.0 grade point average from your 8th grade Spring Semester 2024
  2. Have a copy of your Spring Semester Report Card if you did not attend a SRCS Middle School.
  3. Complete the online sports registration process found at https://srhs.srcschools.org/athletics/senior-high-athletics
  4. Have a completed sports physical signed by a Doctor dated after June 1, 2024.
  5. Contact the below coach for inclusion in any summer workouts that are offered.
  6. 9th graders can not earn high school PE credit for participating in SRHS athletics.
