Mental Health

  • Illuminate mental health needs near and far. This includes helping one another feel more supported, advocating for mental health services, and building bridges with experts in the field to expand access to treatment.
  • Everything we do is in the spirit of caring, giving, friendship, and compassion, and has been from the beginning of our organization.
  • What makes Rotary powerful isn’t just what we do for the communities we serve. We also support and empower each other, by creating a safe space for our members to bring their whole, authentic selves. We show each other comfort and care.

  • May is Mental Health Awareness month.

Virtual connections around the Globe

The importance of communicating with and learning from another culture cannot be overstated, and Rotary is making it even easier to do so.

One way is through virtual international exchanges

  • Uses online platforms;
  • Connect people from different parts of the world to share their traditions, priorities, values, and more;
  • Can serve as a window to another part of the world through activities such as teaching a digital cooking class, learning a new language, or even designing service projects with a global impact.

DEI and Empowering Women and Girls

  • Focus on continuing our journey in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) — ensuring that Rotary reflects the communities we serve and continues to take significant steps toward accessing the full range of human talents and experiences, so that we can better serve humanity.

  • And we will continue to empower women and girls by helping them unlock the potential already within them.

In order to be able to receive grants we have to donate to the Rotary Foundation!

- Rotary has a Positive Peace Academy, which is an online activity for Rotarians and non-members.

-  Rotary Peace Centers are powerful activators in changing lives. A new peace center in the Middle East, in Istanbul, where there will be a peace conference in February 2025.
