    • Hate speech through biased or threatening statements
    • Harassment such as through cyberbullying

  • Despite the need for free speech regulation on social media, free speech possess various advantages in society including:
    • Protecting people from censorship
    • Promoting the public agenda
  • Protection protects public platforms.
  • Public platforms provide venues for people to express themselves.
  • Expression is shielded from consequences.
