CAlifornia Young Reader

Medal (CYRM)

This winter all students will listen to the books nominated for the California Young Reader Medal for their age group. After students listen to or read all of the books in a category they will get to vote for their favorite!

“The California Young Reader Medal (CYRM) program encourages recreational reading of popular literature among the young people of our state. Since its inception in 1974, millions of California children have nominated, read, and voted for the winners of the California Young Reader Medal.” - https://www.californiayoungreadermedal.org/

The next slides include the nominated titles in each of the elementary categories.
