Testing Timeline

  • Junior year:
    • PSAT in October for National Merit Scholarships.
    • SAT Reasoning Test/ACT: Spring 2020.
    • AP tests in May 2020. SAT Subject tests in June.
  • Senior year:
    • SAT/ACT- in Fall 2020 if you need to improve your scores.
    • Re-take SAT Subject tests if you would like to improve.
    • AP tests in May 2021.

What are the options for recovering credit needed to graduate?

  • Summer School (you may earn up to 10 credits)
  • Supplemental Instruction
  • If you are sixteen years old and are behind 20 - 30 credits, you may be transferred to On-Site Continuation (OSC)

  • If you are sixteen years old and are behind 30 or more credits, you may be referred to Desert Winds High School

  • Counselors will review your credits again at the start of 2nd semester
