6th Grade (CC6, CCI6): Ratios, Expressions, Equations, Inequalities, Statistics & Geometry

7th Grade (CC7, CCC7): We build on 6th grade math concepts and begin algebra with distributive property, combining like terms, and understanding how to solve for missing variables.

8th Grade (CC8, CCC8): Major Concepts include Graphing, Systems of Equations, Rules of Exponents, and Transformations

Middle School Options

  • Students who live in the Baker, Payne, Anderson, and Country Lane attendance areas will be enrolled at MMS for 6th grade. If you would like to attend Latimer, you must request a transfer during open enrollment from March 1-30.
  • Students who live in the EDS attendance area will be enrolled at EDS for 6th grade. If you would like to attend Latimer, you must request a transfer during open enrollment from March 1-30.
  • Students who live in the Latimer attendance area will be enrolled at Latimer for 6th grade.

***Approval of request will depend on capacity at sites. Written notification from the District will occur in July.
