About

our project

    • We want to help people who are interested in James Webb Space Telescope know more information and understand about JWST
    • We decide to make our project in the form of a 3D fpp game because it's interesting and easy to add information about JWST.
    • Our members have the ability and experience to create a 3D game so we choose to create what we are good at most.

Our game is a 3D fpp game that the players, Main character, play the role of an astronaut who receives a mission to explore Mars but unfortunately an unexpected accident happened and made JWST broken so our players need to explore the entire spaceship and find JWST construct to fixed JWST

We put information about JWST throughout the whole journey by telling stories, which consist of the information about JWST from NASA, every time players found its construct and We create short tasks or mini-game that use the information about JWST from when the players pick up constructs so players can learn and have fun at the same time

    • We decided to use Unity to create this project and started to find the informations and models for our game.

Working process during hackathon Day

    • Then we created the game map by using models that we prepared earlier and combined it together with Blender
    • We created the fpp character controller by using c# scripts
    • We started our project by planning and distributing our responsibilities.
    • We also created short tasks and mini-game by using c# scripts in Unity
    • Lastly, we put more details into our map and tested our project
