Final Exam Exemptions

Students may be exempt from the final exam if they:

  • Have a projected final grade of an A (90 or above) and no more than 3 unexcused absences
  • Have a projected final grade of a B (80 or above) and no more than 1 unexcused absence
  • Have no more than 4 tardies in the course
  • Have no Honor Code violations

Students cannot be exempt from state testing including field testing

​

**Note about absences**

  • School-sponsored field trips do not count toward absences
  • College visits can be an excused educational absence, but must be approved in advance by the principal
  • For absences to be excused, you must turn in documentation to the attendance office within 2 days after returning to school. All documentation will be reviewed to determine if the absence can be excused.

Athletic Eligibility

Students can only remain eligible to play if they:

  • Passed 6 out of 8 classes during the previous semester of their sport(s)
  • Attended school at least 85% of the days during the past semester
  • Have a minimum 1.5 GPA

College & Career

Promise (CCP)

  • CCP is a dual enrollment program for high school students. This program allows eligible students to enroll in college level classes at a North Carolina community college at no cost. You can read more at the Wake Tech website.

  • Students who successfully complete the college courses will earn college credit and often earn dual credit, meeting HS grad requirements.

If you are currently taking a CCP course in the fall semester:

  • The class has been added to your schedule in Infinite Campus.
    • Ms. Miller sent an email yesterday to students notifying them (check your WCPSS email).
  • If you are taking a fall CCP course, don’t forget to complete your Dual Enrollment form for the fall semester and return to Mrs. Miller via email or drop off in Student Services.

Your Transcript

  • Transcripts look slightly different in Infinite Campus �
  • Transcripts are updated with final grades
    • February - Midyear (Semester-long classes ONLY)
    • June - End of year (Final grades)�

Beginning this school year, there are changes in requesting transcripts and other student records.

To request a copy of a transcript for a scholarship, CCP, or personal use, complete the Enloe Magnet HS Transcript Request Google Form

To request any other type of student record (Report Card, 504 plan, IEP plan), complete the Enloe Magnet HS Records Request Google Form

Requirement Before 12th Grade

  • North Carolina law now requires ALL rising 12th graders get a meningococcal vaccine (MCV) booster before starting 12th grade.

​

  • Parents/Guardians need to provide a copy of their child’s immunization record showing proof of the MCV vaccine before the first day of school in August.
