Touch Point project

Hundreds of Ukrainian veterans have lost their sight due to war, facing not only physical blindness but also the risk of social isolation, loss of independence, and psychological trauma.

The ‘Touch Point’ project provides blind veterans with comprehensive support for daily life and social reintegration such as:

Independent mobility training
Digital literacy and assistive technology skills
Physical rehabilitation
Psychological counseling
Post-program specialist support in home communities

56 participants successfully completed the course.

There is a strong need to expand the course.

Fundraising campaigns launched at Global Giving and Endaoment.

The cost of four weeks of training, subsequent rehabilitation and support for one veteran is $4 400.
