Welcome to Panama!

The Panamanian Foundation for the Promotion of Mathematics is a private non-profit Foundation.��Born on:�December 6th, 2019��Mission: change the world’s perception so that one and all can experience mathematics as accessible, relevant and inherently joyous.

Virtual Events

• So far we have organized:

• More than 500 virtual events (since March 2020)

• More than 50,000 participants
• Panamanians and internationals
• Kids and adults of all ages

• More than 200,000 people have registered to attend our virtual events

Math Jamborees

• Virtual events for the entire family in Spanish

Virtual Origami Classes

• Classes for 8-year-olds and above in Spanish but a few are in English

Webinars on Recreational Mathematics

• Virtual events open to the general public in Spanish

• Female mathematicians share their stories in Spanish

• Virtual events open to the general public once a month co-organized with the MAA

• Kids and adults of all ages

*not counting events in which we were invited to participate with a stand, a talk or a workshop
