Labor Market Exchange

            • Integrated EOLWD systems will allow colleges to build programs around targeted industries and high-growth occupations

  • Integrated job-search tools will facilitate real-time discovery of educational opportunities across the state

  • Potential LMI services could connect Wanted Online, DCS's MOSES database, and DHE’s HEIRS database

Guide to Matriculation

            • Real-time search of occupations and educational opportunities will guide job seekers and create enhanced pathways to matriculation

  • E.g. data shared via the bus will help streamline processes, such as follow-up recruitment communication, admissions and assessment

  • It can also support more consistent tracking of students between institutions (colleges and career centers)

Shared Case Management

            • Integrated systems will allow career center case workers and college advisors to collaborate, oversee student progress, and jointly identify and address barriers

  • For example, career center staff can be alerted to attendance and impending graduation to support and track the student as he/she secures that very important first job
