THE DESERT
The desert is a vast stretch of land. It looks a feast to eyes but the life in the desert is very tough.
INTRODUCTION:

Due to hostile conditions the greenery and habitation are very rare. Still many insects, snakes, animals and humans live there by adapting to the unwelcoming environment,

CONCLUSION:
The desert is a special landscape on the earth. Desert plants and animals require less water to survive than other plants and animals. Deserts are an important part of nature’s great plan. They are not useless parts of the Earth. Desert are beautiful with desert plants and flowers and the sight can be as rewarding as that of any tropical garden whenever it rains.
The major feature of all deserts is , of course, dryness and variation of temperature. In humid climates , the moisture in the air acts like a blanket and protects the earth’s surface from the hot rays of the sun.
Deserts are an important part of nature’s great plan. If there are green forests and deep oceans , deserts have their own space.
A desert is generally without water and vegetation. A desert may be too hot or too cold. An Oasis is like a green island in the middle of a desert.
The camel is called the ship of the desert. The reason is they are adapted to live in deserts. They sweat very little. Camels keep their body temperature very high. They retain the water in the body. They drink water after very long time.
Why do men sweat? It is because we keep our body temperature constant.
The small animals don’t drink much water in deserts. They live under sand in burrows during day time and come out at night and get water from the meat of animals.
