Homemade Laundry Soap �(Low Suds: Good for front loader washer, “he washers”)�

Directions:

Grate soap into pot

Add 12 cups of water

Medium low heat 30-40 minutes to melt.

Stir with wooden spoon.

Add powders to pot with completely melted bars of soap.

Dissolve in a couple of minutes.

Pour 8 cups hot water in bottom of bucket.

Pour melted soap mixture into bucket with hot water.

Add 3 gallons of tap water to bucket.

Optional: Add favorite Essential Oil fragrance.

(I put in 10-20 drops of Orange, or Lavender Essential Oil.)

Use about ½ to ¾ cup of gel for each load of laundry.

Enough laundry Soap for 100-125 loads of laundry.

1 ½ cups Arm and Hammer Super Washing Soda

1 ½ cups 20 Mule Team BORAX

1 bar Unscented Ivory Soap

1 bar Fels Naptha Soap

12 cups Water in pot

8 cups Hot Water in empty bucket

3 gallons Tap Water to bucket full of melted soap

5 gallon container with tight fitting lid
