After School Program Policies

Students may select a maximum of three (3) after school clubs/organizations from the registration form.

  • The deadline to register for clubs and paying the club fees is from Monday, August 11 , 2025 to Friday August 29, 2025 by 4 pm.
  • The clubs will not be offered if there is less than 10 students.
  • Clubs will begin on Monday, August 18, 2025.
  • No late payments/registration will be accepted. No refunds will be given, unless the club has less than 10 members and is considered closed.

Admission fees: Please note the following information: Each student must be registered for the program with the approval of a parent or legal guardian. The majority of afterschool clubs and activities charge $50.00 per semester for per club. Some clubs may require an extra fee based on their specific needs. If you plan to use the fee waiver form, please ensure that you attach the necessary documents to be eligible. Each student may only utilize the fee waiver form for one club.FEE WAIVER APPLICATION FORM

You need to complete all of your club payments online, through REVTRAK.

Discipline: Rules and regulations outlined in Harmony School of Technology Student Handbook will be applied to the after school program and all students enrolled in the program are expected to follow them. Students should stay at their assigned places during the after school class period. Students cannot go to their lockers or loiter in the hallways and cafeteria.

Dismissal: Dismissal time for those who enrolled in clubs is 5:00 pm. Please be sure to pick your student up promptly by 5:00 pm after club dismissal. Please make the necessary arrangements to ensure students are off campus by school closing time, 5:00 pm.

Late Pick Up: If you are going to be late, please try to call a friend or relative to pick up your child and also please call your child’s club sponsor.

  • The first time a family is late in picking up their child, the club teacher will remind them of the pick-up expectations verbally. The teacher will document the late pick-up and any conversations or follow up in the child’s file.
  • The second time a family is late in picking up their child, the club teacher will follow the same procedure listed above.
  • The third time a family is late in picking up their child, the student will not be allowed to participate to the club anymore and no refunds will be given.

Space is limited, and enrollment will be on a first come, first serve basis.

🤖 FIRST LEGO League Robotics Club

Description:� FIRST LEGO League (FLL) introduces students to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) through fun, hands-on learning. Participants work as a team to design, build, and program robots while solving real-world problems. As part of a global robotics program, students gain valuable problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership experience while preparing for competitions that inspire innovation and creativity.

📸 Media/Photography Club

Description:� The Media/Photography Club is a creative space for students passionate about photography, videography, and digital storytelling. Whether you’re just starting out with a smartphone or already experienced with a DSLR camera, this club welcomes all skill levels. Students will learn to capture moments, tell stories visually, and explore digital media projects in a collaborative environment.

📘 Math Competition Club

Description:�The Math Competition Club prepares students for a four-stage contest series: school, chapter, state, and national. The problems increase in difficulty at each level—perfect scores are common in school rounds, while national winners rarely achieve perfection. Each school may register up to ten students, including a designated four-member team.

📐 AMC 8 Math Club

Description:�The AMC 8 Math Club helps students prepare for the AMC 8 competition, a 25-question, 40-minute contest for students in 8th grade and below. This contest covers middle school math topics and emphasizes creative problem-solving skills. It is a standalone competition that introduces students to new mathematical strategies and approaches.

✏️ PSAT & TSIA2 Prep Club

Description:� The PSAT helps students strengthen their math, reading, and writing skills while preparing for the SAT. High-scoring students may earn national recognition, including the prestigious National Merit Scholarship.� The Texas Success Initiative Assessment 2.0 (TSIA2) is a placement test used by Texas colleges and universities to determine readiness for college-level courses in reading, writing, and math. This club will help students prepare for both assessments and build confidence in their academic skills.

Description:� Ping pong is a fun and engaging sport that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and friendly competition. 🩺 HOSA – Future Health Professionals Club

Description:� HOSA is a national student organization for those interested in careers in healthcare. Members explore the world of health professions through 58 competitive events ranging from skill-based to leadership and team-based challenges. Events are grouped into four categories: Health Science, Health Professions, Leadership, and Recognition. Students compete at the regional, state, and international levels, with top three state winners advancing to the international stage.

Description:� Science Olympiad is a national team competition where students compete in 23 events across a variety of scientific disciplines, including earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. This club provides hands-on opportunities to explore STEM concepts, collaborate with teammates, and compete at local and national tournaments.
