Mentoring Circle Program Purpose

To empower Korean-American women with the tools to succeed by promoting growing relationships and career development, through networking and mentorship.

2021-2022 Mentoring Circle

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

    • Each circle will consist of up to 10 women.
    • Circles will meet 4-6 times per year.
    • Circle meetings can be either in-person and/or via virtual platform.
    • Time will be spent networking and discussing a relevant career development topic.
    • Formal Mentoring Circles will last 12 months.

MENTORING CIRCLE MEETINGS

    • For each circle, there will be facilitators from KOWIN moderating the circle discussions.
    • Members are encouraged to proactively engage in the discussions and share thoughts with each other.
    • Various topics and forums based on members’ interests level can be addressed in circle meetings such as:
      • Book/Article club
      • Guest speaker presentations
      • Mentor panel discussions
      • Others per members’ requests
