Ralph Winfred Tyler (1902–1994) was an American educator widely regarded as the father of modern curriculum development. His seminal 1949 work established the first systematic framework for educational planning, profoundly shaping how schools and universities design their programs.

Who Was Hilda Taba?

Hilda Taba (1902–1967) was an Estonian-American educator, theorist, and curriculum reform leader. Her 1962 work Curriculum Development: Theory and Practice challenged the dominant top-down approach and repositioned the classroom teacher as the most important agent of curriculum design.
