Problem: Less Growth in sales & negative ROAS

Process: I understood the problem of nearly 0% growth in sales. After going through the ad account, majorly 3 things lead to this situation:

  • Ads were great, but they were not tested enough to label them as non-performing
  • Ad account structure is not being followed resulting in not being able to read data for scaling ads
  • Audience setup(Retargeting, Lookalike) was not done

Solution: Here is how we planned and executed the campaigns that resulted in 6x growth in revenue, with profitability.

  • Instead of directly jumping to execution, I focused on metrics like conversion Rate & Cost Per Purchase.

  • Changed the account structure and only kept 2 campaigns active.

​

  • Tested multiple creatives for a longer time frame to see if there’s any traction or engagement on those creatives.

  • Remarketed to website visitors, add to cart and initiate checkout audience.

  • To increase the Conversion Rate & decrease the Cost Per Purchase, we created Storytelling ad, Result Oriented Ad, and Though Leadership ads. Following are some example:

Results: After doing this exercise and constantly working on improvements for a month, we saw this results:

  • Conversion Rate increased by 1.6 times

  • Sales Increased By 7 times

​

  • ROAS Increased By 1.5 times

  • And Cost Per Purchase Reduced by 1.5 times
