Fellowship for Huang Hongxiang and another Chinese journalist in Nelspruit. Huang’s resulting work on rhino poaching draws reaction from the Chinese Embassy.
Huang Hongxiang sets up the NGO China House in Kenya to undertake wildlife conservation activities among Chinese communities in Africa.
ACRP, China House and partners hold the Africa-China Wildlife Cooperation Forum at Wits University, culminating in declaration submitted to FOCAC Secretariat.

ACRP IMPACT CASE STUDY: PUBLIC HEALTH REPORTING, EMPOWERING AFRICAN VOICES AND PERSPECTIVES
In 2020-2021 the ACRP awarded 31 reporting grants to journalists from across Africa to investigate how African countries were being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on Africa-China relations.
The resulting investigations included:
