What problem are we trying to solve

  • The flood of Earth imagery can be overwhelming, and it is only getting more challenging to manage.
  • The existing industry hasn’t completely adapted cloud processing making Earth observation largely inaccessible
  • Researchers have a difficult time bringing the best science out of the lab and into the hands of decision-makers

We want to help unlock the knowledge from the world’s Earth observation data

Our India journey so far

  • Google Earth Outreach empowers non-profits, educators, scientists and academics to use Google’s mapping platforms for good.

  • We officially launched our program in India in 2018, following the launch of our Earth-suite tools (Earth, Earth Engine, Earth Studio) in India in 2017.

Earth Engine Roadshow

Earth Engine Hands-on Trainings

Trained 500+ students in 11 academic institutions pan-India on Google Earth Engine by visiting them in roadshow-style.

Conducted Hands-on Workshops at IIRS, FSI, World Bank, CES and IISc for students and faculty members and trained over 600 academicians in Earth Engine.
