What is CFUW ?

CFUW is a non-partisan, voluntary, self-funded organization with 90 Clubs across Canada with over 6700 members. We give out over $1,000,000 in bursaries and scholarships and this does not include our CFUW Charitable Trust. We are the largest NFA of Graduate Women International (GWI)

Founded in 1919, CFUW has been working to improve the status of women, and to promote human rights, public education, social justice, and peace. Something we need more than ever right now

  • Local clubs give out over 1 million, from across the country to support education, communities, and International projects

Graduate Women International (GWI)

  • Graduate Women International (GWI) is an international network linking women graduates from all cultures, all fields of study, all professions and all generations. GWI has national affiliates in 62 countries, including CFUW, and individual members in more than 40 others.
  • GWI Triennial Meeting is happening this year in Lusaka, Zambia (September 2025)
