Volunteer Opportunities - Virtual Book Share

Requirements:

  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 14
  • Orientation or Training
  • Commit to a little over an hour per week
  • Volunteers must reside in a proximal area to this region and have access to reliable wifi, PC, Mac, or Chromebook computer with a functioning webcam and microphone.

Reading Partners is seeking volunteer tutors to work one-on-one with students through a new online tutoring platform. The Reading Partners Connects program pairs one student with one volunteer tutor to meet weekly in an online learning environment. No teaching experience required and anyone over the age of 14.

Would you be interested in simply cleaning classrooms after school for volunteer hours?

Volunteer Opportunities - Austin Smiles

Austin Smiles is a local non-profit organization providing surgical and post-surgical care for children born with cleft lip and palate in Central Texas and Latin America

Join us for a wonderful volunteer opportunity at UT home games and Formula 1! Austin Smiles will be partnering with Kingdom Promotions to staff local events this season as a new fundraising opportunity!

Volunteer opportunities are 5-7 hour shifts with tasks including:

  • Ticket taking
  • Ushering
  • Security

First UT game date volunteering event at the Texas Memorial Stadium is on September 4th.

With your help, Austin Smiles can raise money for life-changing support for children in need.
