2. Pantomime Vocabulary (Compound Words)

What To Do:

  1. Students work in partners.
  2. Each set of partners draws a card with a compound word on it.
  3. Partner1 pantomimes Word#1; Partner2 pantomimes Word#2.
  4. Students in the class try to guess the compound word and then use it in a sentence.

Example:

Pantomime Word #1= foot;

Pantomime Word #2= ball;

Student guesses, “Foot.. ball...

I watched a football game last week.”
