What is an Agent?

Agents are AI systems which contain the following at varying levels of competency:

Have a distinct role or objective

Have access to outside tools

Perceive their environment

Process the outside information and

take action

Why Agent v. Multi-Agent

System (MAS)?

MAS allow each individual agent to specialize for a specific tasks.

Emergent intelligence come from agents working together.

MAS breaks complex problems into smaller more easily solvable tasks.

Think about MAS Agents as employees in a large company
