Every Day Counts, Every Class Counts

  • Being just thirty minutes late for school will count as a full-day absence.
  • Attendance is taken in each period, not just first thing in the morning. Showing up for every class makes a difference in making progress toward graduation.
  • We want to be your partners in reducing chronic absence, which includes both excused and unexcused absences. Chronic absence negatively impacts learning for students who are not in school and their classmates who are.
