Print Class Lists

  1. Navigate to (A) Reports, then (B) Print Class Lists.

The Print Class Lists screen is used to print class lists that can be customized to include a variety of student information, such as demographic, contact, ESE, ELL, schedule, attendance, grade, and discipline information. Class lists can be printed in PDF or CSV format.

  1. Enter Search Criteria
  1. On the left side of the screen, click More Search Options. (Note: if grade 9 is the search criteria, all sections that include grade 9 students will print). Enter applicable search criteria.
  2. Use additional search fields to better define your search, if needed.
  1. To print a class list for a particular section, select Choose next to the Section field. Make a selection from the pop-up window.

The selected section is displayed next to the Section field. Select the Choose link again to select another section, if necessary.

  1. To print class lists for a particular course, use the Courses drop down menu. One or more can be selected.

To quickly find a course in the list, type the course name or number in the Filter field in the drop down menu. The list will filter as you type.

  • Select the Periods to print. One or more can be selected.
  • Select the Teachers to print. One or more can be selected.
  • Select the Marking Period to print.
  • Select the Effective Date from the drop down or calendar icon to print class lists as of the selected date.

  • Complete the checkbox options at the bottom of the search criteria.

Include Future Active Students to include students enrolled before the start of the school year.

Include Co-Teacher Sections to include all teachers, including co-teachers.

Include Inclusion Classes to print class lists for any inclusion sections.

To print the class lists on district or school letterhead, select the Letterhead Template from the drop down menu.

  • Define Class List fields

The Class List report includes student names, IDs and grade level. To add additional student fields, select an Available Fields section category. Each bold title is a drop down menu where more fields can be added to the report.

Select the green plus icon to add the fields to the Fields to include in Report section, or click and drag the field over to the Fields to include in Report section.

To quickly locate a field in the Available Fields list, type the field name in the Search Fields box. The matching fields will display in the list for selection. After selecting the field, delete the search criteria to return to the full list of fields.

In the Fields to include in Report section, click and drag the fields to rearrange the order, if necessary.

To remove a field, select the red X at the right of the field.

  • Select Report Format

Select either (A) PDF or CSV from the drop down at the right. Then (B) click Download Class Lists.

PDF reports preview in a new window. The report can be downloaded to your computer or printed.

Select Return to Focus at the top left to go back to the Print Class Lists screen.

When CSV is selected, the file is generated and downloaded to your computer.

If a search yields no results, a warning popup will appear.
