Goal: Make exoplanet discoveries accessible

As humanity moves towards a new era of space travel we look towards exoplanets. We will traverse beyond the confines of our solar system and galaxy in hopes of finding habitable planets like Earth.

End of Beginning aims to make these discoveries surrounding exoplanets in the far corners of our universe available to everyone!

Why End of Beginning?

End of Beginning symbolizes the end of humanity's early space exploration, confined to our solar system. It marks the start of a new chapter, where we venture into the unknown in search of habitable exoplanets—ushering in an exciting journey toward understanding distant worlds and potentially discovering new homes for future generations.

Creating the Website

The website was created using Webflow in a way users can explore the currently discovered exoplanets in an interactive timeline.

The timeline takes them on a journey from past to present.

Other tools utilised were Microsoft Excel to collate data on exoplanets and Adobe Photoshop to edit images.

Future Development

  • Use Spline to add 3D animations.
  • Create a storyline for users to follow to interest primary/middle school children as well as adults and teenagers.
  • Add all 5000+ discovered exoplanets.
