For today’s lesson, let’s start with a 3 ½ minute video about Katherine Johnson through Discovery Education. You may need to log into Discovery Education to watch the video. You won’t want to miss it because Katherine Johnson was a mathematician for NASA and a Recipient of the Nation’s Highest Civilian Honor. While watching, please think about her goals. Did she set any? If so, did she accomplish them?
Once finished, please reread from your RWC “Rocketing Into Space.” Then, complete this Google Document in your Google Classroom for our final grade of the week.
You can refer to pages 104 - 105 in your RWC to answer these questions.
