New Haven Promise Scholarship
for NH Residents
New Haven Promise Eligibility Requirements:
• You must be a New Haven resident & attend NHPS CONTINUOUSLY for at least grades 9-12.
• 90% attendance record or better. (Miss no more than 72 days in HS).
• Cumulative 3.0 weighted GPA or higher by high school graduation.
• Have a positive disciplinary record during high school (no expulsions).
• Complete 40 Promise-approved community service hours (non-profit in New Haven-after school at your former middle school, working after school at the library, soup kitchen, LEAP, New Haven Reads) over four years of high school.
