Learning Intentions

Religious Education course in 10th Grade focuses on reinforcing a strong relationship with God based on the analysis of moral issues with current trends in society by understanding Christian Morality and ethical concepts, Gravity of Sin and its consequences in relationships between individuals and groups from a religious perspective. During the course, students are encouraged to make connections between Social Issues of the world, and how they influence the way we live; in order to respect differences, cultures, social and political groups. As well as they are invited to commit to a critical position towards current events in our world that expose situations against the foundations of the Social Doctrine of The Catholic Church, such as discrimination, violence, poverty, exclusion, injustice or expose any violation of Universal Human Rights.

  • Entender moral y libertad de conciencia en los aspectos humanos.
  • Comprender y analizar los conflictos sociales que afectan el bien común.
  • Analizar los hechos en el A.T. en los que se presentan acciones reprochables (como la injusticia) contrastándolos con los 10 mandamientos como camino de amor al prójimo.
  • Reconocer la promesa de un Salvador en el A.T. y la esperanza de justicia y cambios morales.

  • ONCE INSTRUCTIONS ARE GIVEN, YOU MAY START WORKING ACCORDING TO THE TASKS ESTABLISH. ON THE BOARD YOU WILL ALSO FIND THE TITLE TO YOUR BIMESTRAL PROJECT, AND OPTIONS.
  • GOOGLE CLASSROOM IS THE MAIN SOURCE WHERE YOU ARE GOING TO GET INFORMATION. SO IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO BRING YOUR OWN DEVICE! THERE WILL BE NO CELLPHONE ALLOWED!
  • SOME QUIZZES ARE DONE BY KAHOOTS OR SOCRATIVE, WHICH WILL REQUIRE YOUR DEVICES AS WELL. IF YOU DON’T BRING IT, YOU WILL GET A 10 AS YOUR GRADE.
