Announcement

In the wake of #COVID19, we are taking the following preventive steps to ensure the safety of our team-members at Omnify:

  1. Mandatory Work-From-Home for all team-members starting Tuesday 17 Mar 2020.
  2. Medical Insurance for #COVID19 (up to 5 Lacs) for all full-time team members.
  3. Interns staying in PGs are advised to check with their guardians to take the best course of action regarding their accommodation.
  4. WFH preparedness workshop on Monday 16 Mar 2020 [Mandatory Attendance]

The purpose of this document is to lay down the processes and workflows to be followed during Omnify team’s WFH run starting Tue Mar 17 2020.

  • Check-in on Slack using ‘Logged in’ on #wfh channel.
  • If you are taking a break or are unavailable for a longer duration, message ‘Taking a break’ on #wfh channel.
  • Inform the channel with ‘Resuming’ once you are available.
  • Check-out on Slack using ‘Logging off’ on #wfh
  1. Check-in & Attendance :

  • Request permission from you team lead about your leaves and travel arrangement over email.
  • Once granted, apply on the Leave Request Form.
  • Coordinate with your team regarding the same. Clear communication on mode of travel, arrival destination etc needs to be mentioned.
  • In case of medical emergency, inform your team lead providing details.

  • Plan 30 day- 14 day- 7 day work plan and align it with team’s quarterly goals.
  • Get it vetted from your Team Lead.
  • Publish work list during daily check-in and update on check-out (Asana).
  • Plan to be available on Slack, Email, Whatsapp, Phone, Zoom/Hangouts.

  • Double your communication, especially any dependencies.

3. Clear Work-list

  • Good Internet Connectivity
  • Electricity & Backup
  • Quiet Zone
  • Make sure you have access to necessary tools/resources
  • Please follow information security protocols as required.

4. Infra/Tool/Resources/Support

  • Take necessary precaution as laid out by WHO.
  • Avoid personal non-critical travel.
  • If unavoidable, please inform your team manager and follow if there are any processes like quarantine necessary after your return etc.
  • We are expecting your availability in Bangalore in case we need to call the team in case of any emergencies or to resume operations from office.

  • Task Slayer: Most efficient team member in terms of hitting their goals. Will be decided by team leads.
  • Catch up on that book: Read that book you’ve been always wanting to read and tell us about it!
