What is TAP-LA?

TAP-LA is a chapter of Taiwanese American Professionals (TAP), a national program of Taiwanese American Citizens League (TACL). TAP chapters make up the largest network of Taiwanese American young professionals in the United States, and can be found in most major cities spanning coast to coast.

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing and empowering the Taiwanese & Taiwanese American community in Greater Los Angeles through networking and professional development, while emphasizing the preservation of Taiwanese American Identity.

Our programs and events are focused in five main areas:

  • Community Building
  • Professional Development
  • Promoting Taiwanese/Taiwanese American Culture and Identity
  • Health and Wellness
  • Community Service

TAP-LA is a program in the Taiwan American Citizens League

a 501(c)3 non-profit run entirely by volunteers.

  • Nationwide distributor for baby kids and toys products in the United States Distributor of top baby, kids, toys brands such as Mattel / Fisher Price, Crayola, Spin Master
  • Five warehouses throughout the US
  • Sell to national retailers such as Walmart, Staples, AAFES to small independent baby / toy stores, verticals like healthcare, education, government and institutions

  • Category Manager at a top electronics online retailer – computers, monitors, memory
  • Invented, patented, and sold worldwide a cooling product for computers
