Nmasc vision conference

example: from june 14-17th centennial high school held this year's vision conference. Due to covid we went virtual, giving student councils from across america the opportunity to listen to motivational speakers, join workshops, and interact with one and other all in the safety and comfort of their own homes! It was an amazing and fun opportunity even under odd circumstances.

Online Learning

Health and Safety

This year was rough with covid and we had to adapt as students but I was curious on how other students were going through and how online learning impacted them

FRom another student they tell me “I personally am not fond of online learning, as it does not help me learn much at all, and only drains me. While it is still school, online learning is very easy compared to regular school, but it is more boring.”

One student claims “Online learning has been a struggle, I constantly feel tired and unmotivated. However, I am adapting, and I believe I am getting even better at online learning every day.”

The last student I spoke to gave me a short but an

answer I can agree with they Stated “I’m not a huge fan. But I’m indifferent to it. It has definitely been easier.” WHich I really agree with.

Tutoring Elementary school kids #2citizenship

Students were asked to tutor elementary school kids online in a safe and healthy way. Each elementary school kid was assigned to a centennial stugo student which they helped them in math, language arts, etc etc. It was such a great way to help the kids who are struggling right now with this whole pandemic.

Scavenger Hunt

Creating some holiday cheer, Centennial Student Government put on a scavenger hunt open to all students of Centennial. We opened a zoom link to send out the list of fun pictures to get with some friends or family. There was a surprisingly large turnout and all the pictures that were submitted were full of holiday cheer.

1) What you did Our student council decided on the topic of mental health and divided up into 9 groups to create 7 posters and 2 videos

2) The social marketing pieces you created (attach all the work in SMALL file JPG format)

3) How you distributed to the whole student body (and perhaps community): (list the distribution formats...FB, instagram, twitter, web-site, etc)The SafeTeen 2020 social marketing campaign that Mr. Schueler directed my students with their “Be Well” campaign in the area of Mental Health was a huge help! Student government students from Centennial High School created amazing mental health campaigns and put them on the following platforms for our student body of 1700 students and 120 staff members to see. Instagram /Twitter:@co21hawks, @c_h_s_stugo, @chs_hawk_yearbook, Facebook: Centennial High School website: https://chshawks.weebly.com/

4) Tell us whom to make the check to and where to send it.
