What is the Common Application?

  • The Common App is used to apply to over 800 colleges

  • Some schools may have supplement essays, so you should start your applications as soon as possible

  • Fee waivers are available if you qualify, please check in with your program manager to see if you qualify!

  • If a school is SAT optional, you should only submit your SAT score if it falls within the school’s average

  • If you want to live on campus, make sure to specify so!

  • If you qualify for a waiver, your high school will give you one so you don’t need a “school-specific one.”

  • Answer “YES” to pursuing financial aid
