  1. Personal story - Everyone likes stories. Think of an engaging one relevant to you to capture your audience’s attention.

  • Thought provoking question - Make people think about their own response to your question, engaging them particularly if it is an interesting question

  • Powerful statement - Say something bold or controversial i.e “Parents should not have access to their children's social media accounts”
