MATH

Please continue to work on your NWEA Pathblazer progress.

�This week you will notice another tile in your PathBlazer Math tiles called �WEEKLY 2nd 10-19 Math �This assignment will always parallel the foundational skills being taught in the classroom. This tile is not required but is provided as a support tool to maintain Grade Level math skills.

1. Continue working in PathBlazer as part of your Learning Path based off of your NWEA scores.

Students must spend 30-45 minutes per day on PathBlazer Reading NWEA activities

READING EXTENSION

For the next several weeks we will be working through some basic grade level foundational skills using CKLA. This is the same curriculum that is being taught face to face. Follow the links below to complete Lesson 1, Day 2 Warm-up, Skills Lesson, and Reading Practice.

Students will log into https://fespanthers.typingclub.com Click on the Sign In with Google button. Then enter your Google username and password.

Please continue to work on your keyboarding skills! Parents, make sure your child keeps their hands on the home row at all times while using this software!

Students should spend 15-30 minutes 3X per week on this typing software.

Parent Teaching Tips

Have your child identify the materials objects in your home are made of and explain what properties those materials have that might make them perfect for that object. You can focus on the materials that were used in the question - glass, wood, plastic and rubber or add more materials to the list!

Tis the season for beautiful colors and falling leaves. Living in Northern Mi we are blessed to experience all of the seasons and this is one of my favorites. To embrace this season and remember it’s beautiful colors we are asking that you create your own fall tree. Below you will see examples of fall trees. Feel free to use them as inspiration when you are working on your own creation.
