The Evangelist Whom Jesus Loved
فالتفت بطرس و نظر التلميذ الذي كان يسوع يحبه يتبعه و هو أيضا الذي اتكأ على صدره وقت العشاء و قال: "يا سيد من هو الذي يسلمك؟" فلما رأى بطرس هذا قال ليسوع: "يا رب و هذا ما له؟" قال له يسوع: "ان كنت أشاء أنه يبقى حتى أجيء، فماذا لك؟ اتبعني أنت." ( يو 21 : 20 – 22 )
Then Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also had leaned on His breast at the supper, and said, "Lord, who is the one who betrays You?” Peter, seeing him, said to Jesus, "But Lord, what about this man?” Jesus said to him, "If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me". (Joh 21 : 20 – 22 )
فقال ذلك التلميذ الذي كان يسوع يحبه لبطرس: "هو الرب." فلما سمع سمعان بطرس انه الرب اتزر بثوبه لأنه كان عريانا و ألقى نفسه في البحر (يو 21 : 7)
Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and plunged into the sea (Joh 21 : 7)
فركضت و جاءت إلى سمعان بطرس و إلى التلميذ الآخر الذي كان يسوع يحبه، و قالت لهما: "أخذوا السيد من القبر و لسنا نعلم أين وضعوه." (يو 20 : 2)
Then she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and said to them, "They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him." (Joh 20 : 2)
و كان متكئا في حضن يسوع واحد من تلاميذه كان يسوع يحبه، فأومأ إليه سمعان بطرس أن يسأل من عسى أن يكون الذي قال عنه. فاتكأ ذاك على صدر يسوع و قال له: "يا سيد من هو؟" ( يو 13 : 23 – 25 )
Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved. Simon Peter therefore motioned to him to ask who it was of whom He spoke. Then, leaning back on Jesus' breast, he said to Him, "Lord, who is it?“ (Joh 13 : 23 – 25 )

فالتفت يسوع و نظرهما يتبعان فقال لهما: "ماذا تطلبان؟" فقالا: "ربي، الذي تفسيره: يا معلم، أين تمكث؟" (يو 1 : 38)
Then Jesus turned, and seeing them following, said to them, "What do you seek?" They said to Him, "Rabbi" (which is to say, when translated, Teacher), "where are You staying?" (Joh 1 : 38)

التعّلق الحقيقى بلا أي أهداف أخرى

فقال لهما: "ماذا تريدان أن أفعل لكما؟" فقالا له: "اعطنا أن نجلس واحد عن يمينك و الآخر عن يسارك في مجدك." فقال لهما يسوع: "لستما تعلمان ما تطلبان. اتستطيعان ان تشربا الكاس التي أشربها أنا وأن تصطبغا بالصبغة التي اصطبغ بها أنا؟"
( مر 10 : 36 – 38 )
And He said to them, “What do you want Me to do for you?” They said to Him, “Grant us that we may sit, one on Your right hand and the other on Your left, in Your glory.” But Jesus said to them, “You do not know what you ask. Are you able to drink the cup that I drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?”
