CYBER PUNK/DIGITAL SYMBOL RESEARCH

Due to liking the cyber punk style of clothing that Camden brings I have decided to design my brand around that. I like the futuristic style and weird shapes and over sized hoods that the style brings to fashion. I also feel that the logos could be interesting and influenced by Japanese culture a bit.

ALPHABET DESIGN

I decided to design my own alphabet as a font for the brand these are just rough sketches of lower case and capital letterers and two different variants of the numbers.

BRAND NAME IDEAS

I feel that Camden's fashion is quite controversial and unique so I feel this brand name should reflect that. I feel it should show freedom of culture and ideologies with no boundaries on what it can reflect and say. For example:

“FCUK” standing for French connection UK however they became controversial when releasing jumpers and t-shirts with the quotes “FCUK me” and “Hot as FCUK”. Another brand is American Apparel this clothing and lifestyle brand are notorious in advertising for their risky use of models and clothing. It seems that the clothing brand is coming under more scrutiny for scantily clad models on the sides of buses. The brand play off their reputation though and enjoy their controversial appearance.

So I have taken controversial topics and turned them into brand names.
