Evangelism in the Book of Zechariah
فقل لهم هكذا قال رب الجنود ارجعوا الي يقول رب الجنود فارجع اليكم يقول رب الجنود. لا تكونوا كابائكم الذين ناداهم الانبياء الاولون قائلين هكذا قال رب الجنود ارجعوا عن طرقكم الشريرة و عن اعمالكم الشريرة فلم يسمعوا و لم يصغوا الي يقول رب الجنود. (زك 1 : 3 – 4)
"Therefore say to them, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts: "Return to Me," says the LORD of hosts, "and I will return to you," says the LORD of hosts. "Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets preached, saying, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts: "Turn now from your evil ways and your evil deeds" ' But they did not hear nor heed Me," says the LORD. (Zec 1 : 3 – 4)

بل جعلوا قلبهم ماسا لئلا يسمعوا الشريعة و الكلام الذي ارسله رب الجنود بروحه عن يد الانبياء الاولين فجاء غضب عظيم من عند رب الجنود. فكان كما نادى هو فلم يسمعوا كذلك ينادون هم فلا اسمع قال رب الجنود. (زك 7 : 12 – 13)
"Yes, they made their hearts like flint, refusing to hear the law and the words which the LORD of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets. Thus great wrath came from the LORD of hosts. "Therefore it happened, [that] just as He proclaimed and they would not hear, so they called out and I would not listen," says the LORD of hosts. (Zec 7 : 12 – 13)

فقال لي هذه هي اللعنة الخارجة على وجه كل الارض لان كل سارق يباد من هنا بحسبها و كل حالف يباد من هناك بحسبها. (زك 5 : 3)
Then he said to me, "This [is] the curse that goes out over the face of the whole earth: 'Every thief shall be expelled,' according [to] this side of [the scroll;] and, 'Every perjurer shall be expelled,' according [to] that side of it". (Zec 5 : 3)

Zechariah, the Prophet of Hope
فاجاب ملاك الرب و قال يا رب الجنود الى متى انت لا ترحم اورشليم و مدن يهوذا التي غضبت عليها هذه السبعين سنة. فاجاب الرب الملاك الذي كلمني بكلام طيب و كلام تعزية. فقال لي الملاك الذي كلمني ناد قائلا هكذا قال رب الجنود غرت على اورشليم و على صهيون غيرة عظيمة.
(زك 1 : 12 – 14)
Then the Angel of the LORD answered and said, "O LORD of hosts, how long will You not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which You were angry these seventy years?". And the LORD answered the angel who talked to me, [with] good [and] comforting words. So the angel who spoke with me said to me, "Proclaim, saying, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts: "I am zealous for Jerusalem And for Zion with great zeal. (Zec 1 : 12 – 14)

فرفعت عيني و نظرت و اذا رجل و بيده حبل قياس. فقلت الى اين انت ذاهب فقال لي لاقيس اورشليم لارى كم عرضها و كم طولها. و اذا بالملاك الذي كلمني قد خرج و خرج ملاك اخر للقائه. فقال له اجر و كلم هذا الغلام قائلا كالاعراء تسكن اورشليم من كثرة الناس و البهائم فيها. و انا يقول الرب اكون لها سور نار من حولها و اكون مجدا في وسطها. (زك 2 : 1 – 5)
Then I raised my eyes and looked, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand. So I said, "Where are you going?" And he said to me, "To measure Jerusalem, to see what [is] its width and what [is] its length". And there [was] the angel who talked with me, going out; and another angel was coming out to meet him,. who said to him, "Run, speak to this young man, saying: 'Jerusalem shall be inhabited [as] towns without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it. For I,' says the LORD, 'will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst’ “. (Zec 2 : 1 – 5)
لها سور نار من حولها

ترنمي و افرحي يا بنت صهيون لاني هانذا اتي و اسكن في وسطك يقول الرب. فيتصل امم كثيرة بالرب في ذلك اليوم و يكونون لي شعبا فاسكن في وسطك فتعلمين ان رب الجنود قد ارسلني اليك. و الرب يرث يهوذا نصيبه في الارض المقدسة و يختار اورشليم بعد. اسكتوا يا كل البشر قدام الرب لانه قد استيقظ من مسكن قدسه (زك 2 : 10 -13)
" Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For behold, I am coming and I will dwell in your midst," says the LORD. "Many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and they shall become My people. And I will dwell in your midst. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you. "And the LORD will take possession of Judah as His inheritance in the Holy Land, and will again choose Jerusalem. "Be silent, all flesh, before the LORD, for He is aroused from His holy habitation!“ (Zec 2 : 10 – 13)
يتصل امم كثيرة بالرب
Many nations shall be joined to the LORD
و كان يهوشع لابسا ثيابا قذرة و واقفا قدام الملاك. فاجاب و كلم الواقفين قدامه قائلا انزعوا عنه الثياب القذرة و قال له انظر قد اذهبت عنك اثمك و البسك ثيابا مزخرفة. فقلت ليضعوا على راسه عمامة طاهرة فوضعوا على راسه العمامة الطاهرة و البسوه ثيابا و ملاك الرب واقف. (زك 3 : 3 – 5)
Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel. Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, "Take away the filthy garments from him" And to him He said, "See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes". And I said, "Let them put a clean turban on his head" So they put a clean turban on his head, and they put the clothes on him. And the Angel of the LORD stood by. (Zec 3 : 3 – 5)

اذهبت عنك اثمك
I have removed your iniquity from you
فاجاب الملاك الذي كلمني و قال لي اما تعلم ما هذه فقلت لا يا سيدي. فاجاب و كلمني قائلا هذه كلمة الرب الى زربابل قائلا لا بالقدرة و لا بالقوة بل بروحي قال رب الجنود. من انت ايها الجبل العظيم امام زربابل تصير سهلا فيخرج حجر الزاوية بين الهاتفين كرامة كرامة له. (زك 4 : 5 – 7)
Then the angel who talked with me answered and said to me, "Do you not know what these are?" And I said, "No, my lord". So he answered and said to me: "This [is] the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the LORD of hosts. Who [are] you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel [you shall become] a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of "Grace, grace to it!" ‘ “. (Zec 4 : 5 – 7)
لا بالقدرة و لا بالقوة
Not by Might nor by Power
و اجبت ثانية و قلت له ما فرعا الزيتون اللذان بجانب الانابيب من ذهب المفرغان من انفسهما الذهبي. فاجابني قائلا اما تعلم ما هاتان فقلت لا يا سيدي. فقال هاتان هما ابنا الزيت الواقفان عند سيد الارض كلها (زك 4 : 12 – 14)
And I further answered and said to him, "What [are these] two olive branches that [drip] into the receptacles of the two gold pipes from which the golden [oil] drains?". Then he answered me and said, "Do you not know what these [are?"] And I said, "No, my lord". So he said, "These [are] the two anointed ones, who stand beside the Lord of the whole earth“ (Zec 4 : 12 – 14)

الكرازة بالتجسد
Preaching Incarnation
و كلمه قائلا هكذا قال رب الجنود قائلا هوذا الرجل الغصن اسمه و من مكانه ينبت و يبني هيكل الرب. فهو يبني هيكل الرب و هو يحمل الجلال و يجلس و يتسلط على كرسيه و يكون كاهنا على كرسيه و تكون مشورة السلام بينهما كليهما. (زك 6 : 12 – 13)
"Then speak to him, saying, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, saying: "Behold, the Man whose name [is] the BRANCH! From His place He shall branch out, And He shall build the temple of the LORD;. Yes, He shall build the temple of the LORD. He shall bear the glory, And shall sit and rule on His throne; So He shall be a priest on His throne, And the counsel of peace shall be between them both" ‘. (Zec 6 : 12 – 13)
الرجل الغصن اسمه

ابتهجي جدا يا ابنة صهيون اهتفي يا بنت اورشليم هوذا ملكك ياتي اليك هو عادل و منصور وديع و راكب على حمار و على جحش ابن اتان. و اقطع المركبة من افرايم و الفرس من اورشليم و تقطع قوس الحرب و يتكلم بالسلام للامم و سلطانه من البحر الى البحر و من النهر الى اقاصي الارض.
" Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King is coming to you; He [is] just and having salvation, Lowly and riding on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey. I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim And the horse from Jerusalem; The battle bow shall be cut off. He shall speak peace to the nations; His dominion [shall be] 'from sea to sea, And from the River to the ends of the earth'.
هوذا ملكك ياتي اليك
Behold, your King is coming to you
و انت ايضا فاني بدم عهدك قد اطلقت اسراك من الجب الذي ليس فيه ماء. ارجعوا الى الحصن يا اسرى الرجاء اليوم ايضا اصرح اني ارد عليك ضعفين. (زك 9 : 9 – 12)
" As for you also, Because of the blood of your covenant, I will set your prisoners free from the waterless pit. Return to the stronghold, You prisoners of hope. Even today I declare [That] I will restore double to you. (Zec 9 : 9 – 12)
هوذا ملكك ياتي اليك
Behold, your King is coming to you
و يخلصهم الرب الههم في ذلك اليوم كقطيع شعبه بل كحجارة التاج مرفوعة على ارضه.
ما اجوده و ما اجمله الحنطة تنمي الفتيان و المسطار العذارى (زك 9 : 16 – 17)
The LORD their God will save them in that day, As the flock of His people. For they [shall be like] the jewels of a crown, Lifted like a banner over His land --. For how great is its goodness And how great its beauty! Grain shall make the young men thrive, And new wine the young women (Zec 9 : 16 – 17)
ما اجوده و ما اجمله
How great is its goodness And how great its beauty!
ثم صار الي كلام رب الجنود قائلا. قل لجميع شعب و الارض للكهنة قائلا لما صمتم و نحتم في الشهر الخامس و الشهر السابع و ذلك هذه السبعين سنة فهل صمتم صوما لي انا. و لما اكلتم و لما شربتم افما كنتم انتم الاكلين و انتم الشاربين. (زك 7 : 4 – 6)
Then the word of the LORD of hosts came to me, saying,. "Say to all the people of the land, and to the priests: 'When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh [months] during those seventy years, did you really fast for Me -- for Me?. When you eat and when you drink, do you not eat and drink [for yourselves?]. (Zec 7 : 4 – 6)
الكرازة بالشريعة الجديدة
Preaching the New Law
هل صمتم صوما لي انا
Did you really fast for Me
و كان كلام الرب الى زكريا قائلا. هكذا قال رب الجنود قائلا اقضوا قضاء الحق و اعملوا احسانا و رحمة كل انسان مع اخيه. و لا تظلموا الارملة و لا اليتيم و لا الغريب و لا الفقير و لا يفكر احد منكم شرا على اخيه في قلبكم. (زك 7 : 8 – 10)
Then the word of the LORD came to Zechariah, saying,. "Thus says the LORD of hosts: 'Execute true justice, Show mercy and compassion Everyone to his brother. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, The alien or the poor. Let none of you plan evil in his heart Against his brother'.(Zec 7 : 8 – 10)
اعملوا احسانا و رحمة
Show mercy and compassion
هذه هي الامور التي تفعلونها ليكلم كل انسان قريبه بالحق اقضوا بالحق و قضاء السلام في ابوابكم. و لا يفكرن احد في السوء على قريبه في قلوبكم و لا تحبوا يمين الزور لان هذه جميعها اكرهها يقول الرب. (زك 8 : 16 – 17)
These [are] the things you shall do: Speak each man the truth to his neighbor; Give judgment in your gates for truth, justice, and peace;. Let none of you think evil in your heart against your neighbor; And do not love a false oath. For all these [are things] that I hate,' Says the LORD". (Zec 8 : 16 – 17)
هذه جميعها اكرهها

الكرازة بين الأمم
Evangelism among Nations
فيتصل امم كثيرة بالرب في ذلك اليوم و يكونون لي شعبا فاسكن في وسطك فتعلمين ان رب الجنود قد ارسلني اليك. (زك 2 : 11)
"Many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and they shall become My people. And I will dwell in your midst. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you. (Zec 2 : 11)
فتاتي شعوب كثيرة و امم قوية ليطلبوا رب الجنود في اورشليم و ليترضوا وجه الرب. هكذا قال رب الجنود في تلك الايام يمسك عشرة رجال من جميع السنة الامم يتمسكون بذيل رجل يهودي قائلين نذهب معكم لاننا سمعنا ان الله معكم (زك 8 : 22 – 23)
Yes, many peoples and strong nations Shall come to seek the LORD of hosts in Jerusalem, And to pray before the LORD'. "Thus says the LORD of hosts: 'In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard [that] God [is] with you" (Zec 8 : 22 – 23)
فتاتي شعوب كثيرة
Many Peoples Shall Come
اصفر لهم و اجمعهم لاني قد فديتهم و يكثرون كما كثروا. و ازرعهم بين الشعوب فيذكرونني في الاراضي البعيدة و يحيون مع بنيهم و يرجعون. و ارجعهم من ارض مصر و اجمعهم من اشور و اتي بهم الى ارض جلعاد و لبنان و لا يوجد لهم مكان. (زك 10 : 8 – 10)
I will whistle for them and gather them, For I will redeem them; And they shall increase as they once increased. "I will sow them among the peoples, And they shall remember Me in far countries; They shall live, together with their children, And they shall return. I will also bring them back from the land of Egypt, And gather them from Assyria. I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon, Until no [more room] is found for them. (Zec 10 : 8 – 10)
ازرعهم بين الشعوب
I will sow them among the peoples
و يكون الرب ملكا على كل الارض في ذلك اليوم يكون الرب وحده و اسمه وحده. (زك 14 : 9)
And the LORD shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be -- "The LORD [is] one," And His name one. (Zec 14 : 9)
يكون الرب وحده
The LORD is one
و يكون ان كل الباقي من جميع الامم الذين جاءوا على اورشليم يصعدون من سنة الى سنة ليسجدوا للملك رب الجنود و ليعيدوا عيد المظال. و يكون ان كل من لا يصعد من قبائل الارض الى اورشليم ليسجد للملك رب الجنود لا يكون عليهم مطر. (زك 14 : 16 – 17)
And it shall come to pass [that] everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles. And it shall be [that] whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, on them there will be no rain. (Zec 14 : 16 – 17)
الباقي من جميع الامم
Who is left of all the Nations
لانه هكذا قال رب الجنود بعد المجد ارسلني الى الامم الذين سلبوكم لانه من يمسكم يمس حدقة عينه. لاني هانذا احرك يدي عليهم فيكونون سلبا لعبيدهم فتعلمون ان رب الجنود قد ارسلني. (زك 2 : 8 – 9)
For thus says the LORD of hosts: "He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye. "For surely I will shake My hand against them, and they shall become spoil for their servants. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me. (Zec 2 : 8 – 9)

Preaching the Good Shepherd
من يمسكم يمس حدقة عينه
He who touches you touches the apple of His eye
رب الجنود يحامي عنهم فياكلون و يدوسون حجارة المقلاع و يشربون و يضجون كما من الخمر و يمتلئون كالمنضح و كزوايا المذبح. و يخلصهم الرب الههم في ذلك اليوم كقطيع شعبه بل كحجارة التاج مرفوعة على ارضه. (زك 9 : 15 – 16)
The LORD of hosts will defend them; They shall devour and subdue with slingstones. They shall drink [and] roar as if with wine; They shall be filled [with blood] like basins, Like the corners of the altar. The LORD their God will save them in that day, As the flock of His people. For they [shall be like] the jewels of a crown, Lifted like a banner over His land --. (Zec 9 : 15 – 16)
كقطيع شعبه
The flock of His people
استيقظ يا سيف على راعي و على رجل رفقتي يقول رب الجنود اضرب الراعي فتتشتت الغنم و ارد يدي على الصغار. (زك 13 : 7)
" Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd, Against the Man who is My Companion," Says the LORD of hosts. "Strike the Shepherd, And the sheep will be scattered; Then I will turn My hand against the little ones. (Zec 13 : 7)

فقلت لهم ان حسن في اعينكم فاعطوني اجرتي و الا فامتنعوا فوزنوا اجرتي ثلاثين من الفضة. فقال لي الرب القها الى الفخاري الثمن الكريم الذي ثمنوني به فاخذت الثلاثين من الفضة و القيتها الى الفخاري في بيت الرب. (زك 11 : 12 – 13)
Then I said to them, "If it is agreeable to you, give [me] my wages; and if not, refrain" So they weighed out for my wages thirty [pieces] of silver. And the LORD said to me, "Throw it to the potter" -- that princely price they set on me. So I took the thirty [pieces] of silver and threw them into the house of the LORD for the potter. (Zec 11 : 12 – 13)
ثلاثين من الفضة

و افيض على بيت داود و على سكان اورشليم روح النعمة و التضرعات فينظرون الي الذي طعنوه وينوحون عليه كنائح على وحيد له و يكونون في مرارة عليه كمن هو في مرارة على بكره.
(زك 12 : 10)
" And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for [his] only [son,] and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. (Zec 12 : 10)
الي الذي طعنوه
Whom they Pierced
فيقول له ما هذه الجروح في يديك فيقول هي التي جرحت بها في بيت احبائي. (زك 13 : 6)
"And [one] will say to him, 'What are these wounds between your arms?' Then he will answer, '[Those] with which I was wounded in the house of my friends’. (Zec 13 : 6)

و يكون في ذلك اليوم انه لا يكون نور الدراري تنقبض. و يكون يوم واحد معروف للرب لا نهار و لا ليل بل يحدث انه في وقت المساء يكون نور. و يكون في ذلك اليوم ان مياها حية تخرج من اورشليم نصفها الى البحر الشرقي و نصفها الى البحر الغربي في الصيف و في الخريف تكون. و يكون الرب ملكا على كل الارض في ذلك اليوم يكون الرب وحده و اسمه وحده. (زك 14 : 6 – 9)
It shall come to pass in that day [That] there will be no light; The lights will diminish. It shall be one day Which is known to the LORD -- Neither day nor night. But at evening time it shall happen [That] it will be light. And in that day it shall be [That] living waters shall flow from Jerusalem, Half of them toward the eastern sea And half of them toward the western sea; In both summer and winter it shall occur. And the LORD shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be -- "The LORD [is] one," And His name one.

لا يكون نور …. لا نهار و لا ليل
There will be no light …. Neither day nor night
اطلبوا من الرب المطر في اوان المطر المتاخر فيصنع الرب بروقا و يعطيهم مطر الوبل لكل انسان عشبا في الحقل. لان الترافيم قد تكلموا بالباطل و العرافون راوا الكذب و اخبروا باحلام كذب يعزون بالباطل لذلك رحلوا كغنم ذلوا اذ ليس راع. (زك 10 : 1 – 2)
Ask the LORD for rain In the time of the latter rain. The LORD will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, Grass in the field for everyone. For the idols speak delusion; The diviners envision lies, And tell false dreams; They comfort in vain. Therefore [the people] wend their way like sheep; They are in trouble because [there is] no shepherd. (Zec 10 : 1 – 2)

Preaching the Holy Spirit
اطلبوا من الرب المطر
Ask the LORD for rain
و افيض على بيت داود و على سكان اورشليم روح النعمة و التضرعات فينظرون الي الذي طعنوه و ينوحون عليه كنائح على وحيد له و يكونون في مرارة عليه كمن هو في مرارة على بكره. (زك 12 : 10)
" And I will pour on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for [his] only [son,] and grieve for Him as one grieves for a firstborn. (Zec 12 : 10)

في ذلك اليوم يكون ينبوع مفتوحا لبيت داود و لسكان اورشليم للخطية و للنجاسة. (زك 13 : 1)
"In that day a fountain shall be opened for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness. (Zec 13 : 1)

Preaching His Second Coming
اسكتوا يا كل البشر قدام الرب لانه قد استيقظ من مسكن قدسه (زك 2 : 13)
"Be silent, all flesh, before the LORD, for He is aroused from His holy habitation!“ (Zec 2 : 13)
اسكتوا يا كل البشر
Be silent, all flesh
فيخرج الرب و يحارب تلك الامم كما في يوم حربه يوم القتال. و تقف قدماه في ذلك اليوم على جبل الزيتون الذي قدام اورشليم من الشرق فينشق جبل الزيتون من وسطه نحو الشرق و نحو الغرب واديا عظيما جدا و ينتقل نصف الجبل نحو الشمال و نصفه نحو الجنوب.
Then the LORD will go forth And fight against those nations, As He fights in the day of battle. And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, From east to west, [Making] a very large valley; Half of the mountain shall move toward the north And half of it toward the south.
و تهربون في جواء جبالي لان جواء الجبال يصل الى اصل و تهربون كما هربتم من الزلزلة في ايام عزيا ملك يهوذا و ياتي الرب الهي و جميع القديسين معك. (زك 14 : 3 – 5)
Then you shall flee [through] My mountain valley, For the mountain valley shall reach to Azal. Yes, you shall flee As you fled from the earthquake In the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Thus the LORD my God will come, [And] all the saints with You. (Zec 14 : 3 – 5)
و ياتي الرب الهي و جميع القديسين
The LORD my God will come, and all the saints
