Guidelines to prepare and publish your final poster

  • Use the font: Calibri. Minimum font size: 50 pt.
  • Ensure you follow the OSCARS branding guidlines
  • Include the requested information in the respective boxes in the file.
  • Where indicated, include a picture, graph or diagram to showcase the main outcome(s) of your work.
  • You may reduce, or enlarge the size of each of the boxes according to your specific needs, or to ensure the project picture/diagram/graph you will use fits in the overall layout.
  • Inside each of the boxes, you will find a title - to be kept as it is - and the question(s) you should give an answer to. Delete the question(s) and add your answer(s).
  • Where possible, use bullet points in your answers to enhance readability.
  • Top right corner:
    • Please insert the picture of the project’s PI(s) into the blue circle - if possible in round format.
    • Just above the project picture/diagram/graph..., select and use only the icons related to the Science Cluster(s) your project relates to. Delete the icons that do not apply to your project. To ensure you select the correct icon(s), please find the explanation of each icon on the left bar here.
  • To ensure design and branding consistency across OSCARS printed and digital material, do NOT change colours and fonts and stick to the proposed design.

File name and upload to Zenodo and OSCARS Google drive:

  • Name your file as follows: open call number (01 or 02)-project number-poster-project acronym (example: 01-421-poster-HEFTIE)
  • Generate a DOI on Zenodo - ensuring the poster is linked to both your community on Zenodo, and to the OSCARS community - and send us the related DOI.
  • Upload your file to the folder here
  • When uploaded, send a notice to communication@oscars-project.eu, including the DOI that you’ve generated on Zenodo.
  • We will take care of adding the QR code in the bottom right corner, and will notify you when this is done so you can proceed with the publication of the final version on Zenodo and with the printing for your future communication / dissemination needs.

Printing your poster

  • You are responsible for printing your own poster in a size A1 and for bringing it to the venue before the event starts. The OSCARS team will help you hang it in the right spot.
  • You will be able to take the poster back at the end of the event if you wish.

Use the template on slide 3 to present your scientific results/outcomes in more detail. That is NOT mandatory for the AGM, but we’d ask you to share it with us in case you create it.
